You make sense ! Asking because it is point 3 of the Before Take Off checklist.

Setting the rudder trim at take off
Is there a rule of thumb to set the rudder trim to take off in a strong crosswind ? Asking for a friend who flies the Comanche in the lovely Caribbean scenery recently released. 'As required ' being a little vague to me
Thanks
Thanks

Binding the a/p turn mode knob
I have bound the altitude hold (blue light) to a button of my throttle. Can I do the same for the autopilot turn mode knob (the small pinpoint yellow light) and what would be the Asobo command ? I fumble to find a way. Thanks.

Re: When can we expect more planes???
Do we get the hanging fuzzy dice to check if we are in a coordinated turn in version 1.2. ?Scott - A2A wrote: ↑02 Aug 2023, 15:19 We are working on a 2nd update for the Comanche that is now in testing. Once this update is out and we feel it's at a nice matured state we will start to develop another airplane.

Re: Had to throw out through the door the passengers
Nice story  Agreed, but I think it should be an OPTION to lock out An option, you are right Leaning is the key to reaching these altitudes, and this behaviour was refined somewhat with v1.1. Cheers, Nick I could have climbed higher but it would have taken ages to reach 20 000 feet ! 17 500...

Re: Had to throw out through the door the passengers
They would have died from hypoxia anyway. I knew that it was almost impossible but you are right, the settings should be frozen once the wheels are up.

and jettison half the fuel to climb to 17 500 feet from sea level. Note to myself, you can’t do air taxi with the Comanche in the Andes

Re: Comanche 1.1. : issue with the 530 ?
Thank you very much as I do not have to reinstall 1.1 then.
A case of coincidence. I have flown VORDME and ILS in 1.0 and started RNAV in 1.1..

Comanche 1.1. : issue with the 530 ?
Since the update 1.1. I have an issue having the Garmin 530 (in a 530/430 combo) in GPS mode driving the CDI or rather not driving the CDI. No problem with VLOC so far. To activate the CDI (red flag off), I have to toggle between VLOC and GPS. No big deal. But the last flight for instance, Bristol E...

Balancing fuel
Pilot is 165 lbs, the passenger is 112 . Should I compensate the weigh unbalance in loading the fuel, 20 gallons on the left and 26 gallons on the right ? This is what I spontaneously do as I feel it logical but sometimes a reality check is not useless :D . Bonus question : is the luggage (50 lbs) w...

Re: About the auto-pilottgere v
I will not try to convince the OP, there is no convincing on the internet. He belongs to the simmers who relish being flown by the aircraft rather than flying it. I jump into the thread just to say how glad I am, not to see the run-of-the-mill KP140 or the like in the Comanche but the good ole STEC ...
