Re: P3Dv6
I have found one airplane that I cannot use in P3D6. Its the Virtualcol CJR. As soon as I start it the CPU utilization goes to 100% and stays there until the CPU gets too hot and throttles itself back. One symptom of that about to happen is the scenery looses almost all detail and the program gets l...

Re: P3Dv6
Sometimes in P3D6 my GPU is maxed out. Most of my settings are next to full right. When going out of Fly Tampa's Chicago Midway airport I get frame rates in the 20's and 30s. Most of the time its in the 40s to 60s, occasionally hits 100 out in flat land boonies.

Re: P3Dv6
I have been flight simming on and off ever since the earliest versions of FSX. Even so I consider myself only modestly capable at moving files around and diagnosing problems. There are lots of people more capable than myself at doing deep dives into programing. I do think you have to be fairly serio...

Re: P3Dv6
So far I have moved the A2A Cub, the Comanche, and the T6 over to P3D6 with no problem. They all work fine in P3D6 I have very little difficulty moving a lot of scenery from P3D5 over to P3D6. I have read one report of the Just Flight DC8 from P3D4 working in P3D6, and one report of the PMDG 777 fro...

Re: J3 for MSFS
Very basic and not all that impressive considering what ought to be possible with MSFS. I'll stick with the A2A Cub in P3D6.

J3 for MSFS
A couple of weeks ago I posted a question on the ORBX forum asking what's the best J3 Cub for MSFS? Nobody responded so I'm asking the question here. What's the best J3 Cub for MSFS?

Re: P3Dv6
The only hobby I have that doesn't requre chagring batteries is flight simming. Every other hobby, including following politics (the laptop) requires charging batteries. I get older. I have to double check all the batteries to be sure thay are charged. Seems like to a great extent now days we are sl...

Re: P3Dv6
I mostly flight sim in the winter. In the rest of the year I have outdoor things to keep me occupied. Which is lucky this summe since it gives me time for P#D6 and the Comanche to get the bugs worked out befor I plung in. I tried Xplane 10 or 11 or 12 or what ever it is but did not seem much of the ...

Re: Introducing The A2A Comanche: Built with Accu-Sim (coming soon)
My brother had a Comanche 250 which he dearly loved. We flew with him several times. He passed several years ago. This is as close as I will ever get to flying with him again. thanks Scott and crew.

Re: sticking to P3D
My plan for sometime has been to try MSFS after A2A comes out with the Comanche. I tried XPlane 12. While the default secenry is better than P3D I did not find much more to like.
