Hawaii

Post by Prem Holdaway »

In view of all the problems that Hawaii is having. I hope Jeff (Stickman) is okay. It's looking as if the island is being blown apart.

Yes, hope Jeff is in a safe area and that it will come to a halt soon.

As I remember he once said he lived near the harbour, almost in sight of the USS Arizona memorial, so if he is there he should be safe.

I'm more concerned that stickman hasn't made any posts since last year. Considering Jeff's great dedication to the forum this long absence is a worry.

Yes, Jeff lives on Oahu, where the refinery is, so no where near the
big island volcanoes; and no, I haven't had any contact with him since
he posted last October. But I've been pretty distracted lately too. I
am currently in temporary digs in the Alberta tundra... (well, ok, it's
becoming summer now).

I hope all is good with him in real life ,it is an unusual length of time for him to be absent.

Considering his self admitted real life issues,,,they may indeed have caught up to him.

However,,,one can only hope ("The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." Mark Twain 18 97)
all is fine.

I seem to remember Scott had his personal number. Perhaps a check on his welfare could be made.

That may be a good idea, if Scott would oblige. I just hope he and his family are all okay.

On the beta forum, Jeff advised in October that he was "taking a break".
Scott contacted me a few months ago in regard to one of his longterm
future projects, and mentioned he had talked to Jeff around New Years,
and he (Scott) made no mention of any problems. An email enquiry to
Jeff from me went unanswered last fall, so I've just left it alone. That
seems to be the way of things with internet interactions.

Thanks for the info Pete. At least that helps to put our minds at rest. I also had an email unanswered at the early part of this year. Let's hope all is well.

Now Hawaii is going to be hit with a major Hurricane Category 4.
Hope he is safe.

Crikey, here we go again.

I hope that Jeff and everyone else for that matter come out of this safely.
