I am doing repeated 25 - 35 knot crosswind landing practice in the T-6 and would like to
NOT have to continue to remember to shift-4 damage off or go to the maintenance hanger.
Is there a way to permanently configure damage On-Off?
Thanks
Turn off damage accusim
Re: Turn off damage accusim
You are most likely exceeding the crosswind component of that aircraft.tttt wrote:I am doing repeated 25 - 35 knot crosswind landing practice in the T-6 and would like to

Re: Turn off damage accusim
Hi,
I believe, you can disable plane crashes from the sim itself and you can practice those dangerous crosswind landings without any worries of damage.

They know how to turn it off, but they are asking if the damage setting can be locked on/off.
As far as I know, the answer is no.

Re: Turn off damage accusim
Hello,
if its all in one flight, just hit damage OFF in shift + 3 panel.
thanks,
Lewis

Re: Turn off damage accusim
The original post should have said Shift 3 (NOT shift 4) and the maintenance hangar.
A crash wipes out the damage-off setting when FSX automatically resumes after a crash,
which can occur fairly often in this practice, so if don't remember Shift 3, next time the
maintenance hangar. Would be better if damage was a permanent toggle on/off till the
user decides differently.
Thanks,
tttt

Re: Turn off damage accusim
Oh right, in that case as others say then, you'd be looking to turn damage off in fsx itself re-crash detection.

Lewis
