Ground camera

Post by Boompus »

Howdy

In many YT BoB II videos I see that there are ground cameras. Shots taken from the groud (also bomb impact) I can't find the key. Anyone knows?

Called "Impact Toggle", F11 key, if you are in a bomber,
it will provide a ground view of the bomb hitting and its
result. I haven't used it for many years, so i can't tell you
much more. There is a brief description to be found in the
manual, but not much.

Another way to get a ground view is to use the "Alt-V" view,
but it is a bit flakey, and may corrupt the terrain, putting squares
of ground onto the sea, for instance, which will persist until you
reboot the program. However, it often works properly, at least for
a while, and then you can travel anywhere on the map using the
mouse, with the wheel providing forward and reverse speed.
