Clocked to the Comanche log book today. Great aircraft and still the same pleasure to fly.
Considering "some" TO/landings with it, I wonder whether I could land the real one... (I'm only glider rated in real life)
My only A2A bird still, so far...

Re: 150 hours
Hi,
Good job, on 150 hours in the Comanche guillaume78150! This is an aircraft, that I am yet to add to my A2A hangar. (I'm currently thinking of Cherokee)
Cheerz,
Will

I would recommend one of A2A warbirds, very challenging and rewarding at the same time. ( I currently have P-51 civilian version and T-6)My only A2A bird still, so far...

Re: 150 hours
Well, the only aircraft I have been flying with since I purchased it ! I made a try recently with one of the original FSX aircraft... It hurts ! (I have no Accufeel).
The Comanche lacks of a turbocharger and can't fly very high but then, you can admire the landscape. And provided you are not against strong headwind, it flies far...
Yesterday, southbound route, shortly before crossing Yellowstone river waterfall.

Great shot, thanks for sharing!
I presume you fly, real time and real weather?

Yes, you probably could, although it might not be refined. Generally (very generally) glider aerodynamics translate pretty well to powered flight, leaving the experienced pilot to concentrate on theguillaume78150 wrote:Clocked to the Comanche log book today. powering` rather than the `flying`. You're even less likely to leave the gear up than an ab initio who's come through the non-complex single route...
There's only one way to find out!

Question : FSX map are a bit scarce regarding nav informations and not very easy to use when planning a flight. What would you recommend ?
Cheers.

I agree on FSX's maps.
I used to create flights in Plan G (Plan G again uses FSX or other popular sim maps DBs and you can import the created plan directly in FSX, cause it is the same format)
now I use skyvector.com and manually transfer my plan in FSX. (and alter it, if it needs adjustments)

You're making me jealous, guillaume! I've had it since about the time it was released and I've only managed 155 hours .
