Point-man / Villicus, Some very nice screen shots posted here. What textures package('s) and area are your screen shots in. I really like the terrain detail.

The atmosphere in the screen shots by Villicus is very good.

I am in the market for some new textures and those used by Point-man & Villicuslook very nice.

The other screenshots look superb as well. I am just commenting on the terrain here.

Cheers MarkL

Thanks for the comments. The terrain is Alaska Cinematic by Georender and the weather is ActiveSky 6. Lighting effects are from World Environment.

I used Ground Environment 2006 for the textures and The meshes that I use are from FS Genesis, however the ones that are in my pics are free over at avsim. The files are him_b1 or something like that. Just go there and do a file search for mesh and you'll find them. There are some really good freeware meshes there. I use active sky 6 as well. I don't have the world environment though. I did get it because I was under the impression it did the same thing as active sky. I guess I was wrong though.

Point-man / Villicus,
Thank you for the replies. I have been considering buying an Alaskan package and was wondering if I should get the Alaska Cinematic or the older Misty Fjords package. They both look very good. It is going to be a hard choice.

The world textures in Ground Environment 2006 look very nice. I was considering Ground Environment 2006 or Birds Eye View textures. I think I may lean a little towards Ground Environment 2006 now.

I think I will get one of the sky packages as well. You can really change the mood of FS2004 now.

I just can't wait for PC Aviator to get the new WoP fighters package in Australia.

With the birthday coming up I can see some nice packages coming my way.

Cheers MarkL
