Hello Michael,

This is the Microsoft component of the installation and its installing the latest Direct X9 files. If you already have these you can skip this part of the installation.

thanks,

I do understand that I need the appropiate DX9 files as well. I just have DX10 and 11 installed (So my FSX does not work in DX9 either)
If so, which dx9 version should I take, Lewis?
And I cannot skip these step - the installer does not get finished.

Thanks for your quick help. Very kind.
Best greetings
Michael

Here is the dx9 installer;
http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download ... aspx?id=35

Remember direct x9 is the main direct x for FSX. 10 and 11 do not replace 9. 9 is required for 9 applications as 10 is for 10 and 11 is for 11.

Hyi Lewis !

I already installed this, as posted. I thought you need any specific one.
I installed the directX twice, now it´s working.
Thanks for your help.
It ´s a pitty that it doesn´t work with DX10, I won´t go back to DX9.

Thanks and best regards
Michael

Hello Michael,

it works fine with dx10 and dx11. However it is as with FSX a dx9 app so requires dx9. You misunderstand how dx works, 10 and 11 do not overwrite the need for the previous ones.

thanks

Hello Lewis!

I installed directX without problems.
When installing accufeelv2, I got the same message:
F:A2A/Feel/DXWEBS~1.EXE could not be found
I can only click OK, then an error appears, he cannot execute this (logical).
When I now click OK (the only choice), the installer closes all windows.
No chance to skip/resume/quit or anything else.
I also NEVER got the message, that the setup is completed.
Windows shows the program as installed, but without size and version, just with date.
Trying the update 2.091, he says that I need accufeelv2 to be installed first.

For Info: What the wizard does:
One ASA folder created acc. my inputed path F:/ASA/FEEL/...(outside FSX).
One folder created in the FSX folder (ASA/FEEL/...)

Any idea?
Thanks for your patience and sorry
Michael

Hyi Lewis !

No, it hasn´t installed. It is not shown under "Addons" in FSX of course.
I tried a new download - same result.
For the moment I do give up.
Would it help to implement this exe-file in the path he is looking for?
Thanks for your efforts.
Michael

Scott.
Hi Scott, Hello Lewis,

Is this still a beta, or a release version?
Is Accu-Feel still in development?

I run P3Dv2, and Accu-Feel gives no problems as far as I can see. Will there be changes for P3Dv2?

Eric,

This is well tested and good for release. We're not actively working on any new features, but we move around quite a bit here. We are also actively working with p3d for commercial applications, and Accu-Feel has a place there, so yes, we're aware of how it works with p3d. We're moving slowly for support down the road, but it's still a bit too early to know exactly how that will happen and also, how any future p3d updates would be addressed.

Scott.

Hello Michael,

Can I please ask to start a new thread for your issue so we can troubleshoot it better in the thread and not in this update post. I'm sure we can get you up and running.

That's so great to hear. The main reason I'm excited is because of the next fix.
