Piper J3 Cub needs an Accusim revamp!

Post by JamieKugelmann »

Hi all!

I absolutely love the Accusim Piper J3 Cub from A2A. Since I got the A2A C172 I am thinking that the J3 needs an accusim similar to that of the C172!
Because at the moment the accusim in the cub is really basic and it would be extremely good and handy to be able to inspect the engine like all the other accusim planes. Like give the J3 a Maintenance Hanger like all the other planes. It would complete the aircraft!
Who's with me??

Yeh I'm with you on that I was disappointed not to see a maintenance hangar,
however I doubt there'll be an update that'll give us that

Do J3s require a maintenance hangar? I thought you just needed a hammer and duct tape! :D

Sounds about right Ron.

Ask yourself the question: Do you want the developers to spend time and resources on tweaking the 4-year old (?) Cub up to current AccuSim standards, or would you prefer them to spend that same time and resources in pushing the capabilities of AccuSim further as they work on their next release - a Piper Cherokee apparently :D

I now where I'd like their efforts to be focused.

The J3 has Heidi, hand propping, float physics, etc. We would have to take a lot away to add a maintenance hangar. If we made the j3 today, it would be just like it is.

Thanks Scott.
You know, I'd almost give up the maintenance hangar to have Heidi sitting beside me in the 172

I let Heidi into my Cub just the once. Never again! What a birdbrain.

If she's based on anyone's wife/girlfriend...I'm sorry :D

I like her. She calls out traffic when I fly multiplayer and the comments that come out of her mouth make me laugh. Plus her blocking the view adds to the realism.

Do not have the 172 or the Cub yet. Have not read any info on them or watched any vids since studying proper flight procedures on other A2A aircraft. going to bite the hook. Been set up. Who in the world is Heidi?

She's a woman you can have in the front seat of the Cub. Try her, you might like the squealing in fright or cooing with delight. Then you can throw her over the side! :D
