Hell blackbird,

does this happen in the default cub if you where to load it after it happening with the A2A Cub?

thanks,
Lewis

I do not experience it with the default cub. This is a little perplexing since one of the posts at the Orbx forums said that they experienced problems with both the default and A2A Cub.

Yes blackbird, this is why I asked.

Do you use FSUIPC or anything similar to that program, could it be some sort of wind setting or something affecting the way the aircraft behaves. If using one of these programs can you try disabling it.

thanks,
Lewis

Perhaps I can try a new download? I really have nothing to lose by trying. The order number is 69165.

Hi Lewis, sorry for taking so long to update. I didn't experience any improvement with the new download, but I have moved onto Prepar3D 1.4. I haven't tried to port the A2A Cub into P3D, but after spending a little time with P3D's default cub, it doesn't come close to the A2A Cub's quality! Keep them planes coming! :)

I had a similar issue yesterday. Light winds were enabled with a crosswind, and I had initially put it down to that, but on reflection the effect was far too severe. The comment on sunken wheels was relevant. This was at the ORBX rendering of W16 Monroe and I thought that A2A had simulated a burst tire! The cub was sitting low on the left (definite wing-down on that side) and one wheel seemed to be flattened or sunk.

Does A2A simulate burst tires? (And if not, why not! )

Cheers,

Byron

Just to update. Unfortunately, the new install did not fix my problem, but it does look like this issue affects others as well. I had posted awhile back in the Orbx forums and a few others had mentioned similar responses. Not sure what the reason is, but I just avoid those airports that cause problems for me, Bowerman and Israel's Farm so far.
