The Red Baron paint scheme is superb, I was watching footage from 1979 only yesterday. "Tell Karen I love her."

I also keep revisiting the footage of Steve with the only flyable, and largely original A6M5 too, green with envy.

That video from '79 is heart-wrenching. They had announced shortly after, that Steve was killed. It was some time before Karen, and the rest of the tear-stricken bystanders learned that he was in fact alive, and in remarkable shape, all things considered.

Fast-forward till now, we've got a hot-rod Steven at the controls of the fastest piston powered aircraft in the world. Can't wait to see and hear the thundering hoof-beats in Reno this September!

Sorry bout that. I think the next race will be the oval. The S1 is a bit intimidating especially when your being chased and your hands and feet are shaking from adrenaline.

Seeya soon
