Hi all good people,

I have read some posts and articles both on the net and on a2a sim forums (also on net :))about the rain fix.

So I would like to have rain when in VC in my new P51 and really dont know how to, only thing I know is that I dont have it so I would appreciate step by step procedure to obtain it ( I think it can save time for a lot of people still searching and wondering:)).

Please someone?

Thanks

Kindest regards,

G

If memory serves..the rain effect fix is only for FS9 models converted to FSX. FSX does not have rain effects in virtual cockpits, only in 2D, so currently we are unable to have rain effects in the P-51D. One or 2 developers have created a rain effect in the VC so it is possible ... so we'll just have to wait and see if A2A will implement this feature in the future.

It's there on the PMDG J41, and Anthony's (Ant's Airplanes) Tecnam Sierra. But it's kinda difficult to make, as I understand it.

Fact: There's no rain in the VC on the NGX, because PMDG were already pushing the limit of number of animations possible in FSX; same reason why their armrests dosn't move. I think the max is around 1800 or so animations?

So, possible but difficult. And not there (yet) in A2A planes.
