Hi,

I'm sorry to add yet another thread about this topic but I wouldn't do it if I weren't confused.

I bought the Wings of Silver B377 Stratocruiser yesterday, along with the "Captain of the Ship Pack" add-on. I downloaded both and successfully installed them, B377 first and COTS after it.

Now I'm worried that I am missing some updates. I see on the "Product Updates" page that there is a Service Pack 1 for the B377 and a 1.1 update for COTS.

Do I need to install these updates or were they included in the product downloads?

If they were not included, how do I go about installing the updates now that I have already installed the B377 and COTS?

NOTE: I have FSX Gold Edition, which includes both FSX service packs and Acceleration.

Welcome to the forum,I seen you posted this way back on the 30-April and no replies. Sorry about that,they are usually answered quicker than this. As for the Service Pack 1 for the Stratocruiser that is a "no" do not install that one,that was an update to the ACCU-SIM package we had with the Strat. before COTS was developed which you don't need. The COTS 1.1 update I don't think that needs installing either,but I am not for sure on that one I don't know if that update has been added to the COTS package or not. Hopefully some of the others will see this and comment.

Thanks for the link! I did read that and for whatever reason found it confusing, which is too bad because its purpose is to clear up confusion .

Hi Mark, thanks for the info. I eventually came to the same conclusion about SP1 and I did not install it. I did end up installing the COTS 1.1 update because I couldn't figure out whether the current version in the store comes with 1.1 already applied or not.

None of the A2A planes come out of the store with any updates/Patchs on them

Hi! I bought the B377+COTS bundle earlier today, awesome aircraft BTW well done! I downloaded and installed the B377 and then COTS. I also downloaded and installed the COTS service pack 1 but I wasn't sure it was needed. I know it might sound stupid but I just want to be sure it's been correctly installed, everything seems to be working so far though. Thanks again for an awesome aircraft!
