Hi.

I'm new to all this lights editings but I read that some settings are already done and tried them but none worked still.

I'm even reading the manual and I can't get it done.

What do I really need to do to get the lights on the addon aircrafts?

Example, in the manual it says :

AIRCRAFT.CFG
Add the following line at the bottom of the [lights] section changing 'XX' to the next available number
light.XX = 5, 0.7, -5.7, -2, fx_Shockwave_landing_light // Shockwave light
The coordinates above are as follows:
- Light type (must be 5 for landing lights)
- X (- = back, + = forward)
- Y (- = left (in cockpit view)+ = right (in cockpit view)
- Z (- = down, + = up)
Numbers have to be adjusted for each AC you add lights to and are from the model origin point.
If the AC has more than one light then set up one first then copy and paste the line for the second one.
For symmetrical lights in the wings you would just need to increment the light # and add or remove
the - sign in the 3rd pos'n numbers to switch between port and starboard.

I'm not understanding how to do the editing process, is there a tutorial for it?
And does each number means a different size for the light?

Ok I think I got cleared of something and that is 5 is a landing light.

But what I'm still not understanding is that what does "light. 0" means? "light. 1"? "light. 2"? and so on.
What does each "light. x" mean?

here's a 737-600 aircraft cfg :

With this setting my 737-600 doesn't have the lights applied on it, what is wrong in the setting?

Let me also say I messed up on purpose an airbus A300 light section and in flight sim the lights are still the same, nothing was moved or changed from its original place on the aircraft.

What am I doing wrong?

I also would like to know, do I have to put the "gaugexx=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light" line in the panel cfg file in which for the lights to work? Because if it is not necessary, I'm not that picky when retracting the gear, I'll just turn off the landing lights with ctrl L, I only want the lights to appear on my planes.
