Ok I think I got cleared of something and that is 5 is a landing light.
But what I'm still not understanding is that what does "light. 0" means? "light. 1"? "light. 2"? and so on. What does each "light. x" mean?
here's a 737-600 aircraft cfg :
[LIGHTS] //Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing light.0 = 3, -150.30, -102.56, 3.22, fx_shockwave_navred , light.1 = 3, -150.30, 102.56, 3.22, fx_shockwave_navgre , light.2 = 3, -223.85, 0.00, 8.85, fx_shockwave_navwhi_l_nl , light.3 = 2, -150.30, -102.56, 3.22, fx_shockwave_strobe_l , light.4 = 2, -150.30, 102.56, 3.22, fx_shockwave_strobe_l_2 , light.5 = 2, -228.97, 0.00, 44.62, fx_shockwave_strobe_l_3 , light.6 = 1, -45.05, 0.00, 14.65, fx_shockwave_beaconh , light.7 = 1, -80.22, 0.00, -12.05, fx_shockwave_beaconb , light.8 = 4, -16.24, 0.00, 9.19, fx_shockwave_vclight_l, light.9 = 6, -20.08, 1.11, -11.17, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_low , //shockwave light light.10 = 5, -20.08, -1.14, -11.17, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_low , //shockwave light light.11 = 5, -73.02, 19.76, -3.5, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_747_rw , //shockwave light light.12 = 5, -73.12, -19.51, -3.5, fx_Shockwave_landing_light_747_lw , //shockwave light light.13 = 5, -40.0, 0, -20, fx_shockwave_landing_light_light_l , //shockwave light
With this setting my 737-600 doesn't have the lights applied on it, what is wrong in the setting?
Let me also say I messed up on purpose an airbus A300 light section and in flight sim the lights are still the same, nothing was moved or changed from its original place on the aircraft.
What am I doing wrong?
I also would like to know, do I have to put the "gaugexx=shockwave_lights!SW Lights_gear, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light" line in the panel cfg file in which for the lights to work? Because if it is not necessary, I'm not that picky when retracting the gear, I'll just turn off the landing lights with ctrl L, I only want the lights to appear on my planes.
Thanks for the reply Scott, it helped a basic thing for me.
