Hey guys. I'm new to these forums but I've flown A2A's aircraft a bit, including the B-17 and Spitfire (which are amazing).
I hope this isn't one of those questions that's just asked time and time again, to the point of annoying A2A.
I was wondering if A2A ever considered the development of a high wing, modernized trainer. Now I'm not talking about throwing a bunch of glass on a panel and calling it a fun. I'm talking about something in between old school, and new school. Like a 150, 152, or maybe even a 172M.
Surprisingly, flight simulator lacks these every-day trainers when it comes to detail.
You've got Carenado, who didn't even bother to include a fuel shutoff in their 152. Leaves out even the most basic equipment, like strobe lights and fully functional radios. But if a developer can't even be bothered to develop a Cessna 152 in it's entirety, it makes me question the fidelity and accuracy of the flight model, and keeps me from being able to even perform normal checklists.
Now we have these ground breaking developer's like A2A, with exceptionally immersive aircraft addons. A2A is the best at what they do, hands down. I know you can't make everyone happy, and there's always going to be people like me who would love to see something a little different. I just wonder if A2A has ever considered expanding on what they did with the Cub, into other areas of development.
I would really love to see a developer like A2A give Cessna jockey's like me the ability to recreate that experience of going down to the regional airport and taking the kids on a scenic adventure, or practicing some circuits and experimenting with spins, touch and goes, and turn coordination on more of a modest, believable scale.
Thoughts?
