I was doing some stalls in the NGX and noticed the following.

Without Accu-Feel stall effects, you can get the aircraft into a fairly deep stall...pull the nose up about 45 deg, power back, and hold it. The aircraft will get the stick shaker as it passes 18 AoA, but if you really hold it, it will progress as far as 60 deg AoA. No expert on stall characteristics of the NG, but my preliminary understanding is that pmdg got this behavior correct.

With Accu-Feel, the buffet comes on to correctly correspond with the stick shaker. However, the stall progression is more or less inhibited. Maybe 20 deg AoA max; Just can't get her into a deep stall (not that you would want to, but hey, its Flight Sim). Tried it half a dozen times both with/without AccuFeel and the results are consistent. I'm not sure if I'm evaluating this correctly, but it feels like I'm stalling a Straight Wing airplane, not a Swept Wing.

So my question is this: Is it possible (in future revisions) to shake the aircraft and get the Buffet ambience, without overidding Pmdg's flight model?

There shouldn't be any overriding but we have made a few key changes to insure transparency during the deep stalls. I ran a bunch of test this morning on various aircraft and results are so far identical. We'll test this quite a bit more.

I forgot to send you the stupid picture!!! Anyway, you should now have an annotated screenshot PM'd, just so you know where I'm getting my AoA numbers from.
