Hello from France!

First , thanks to provide us fabulous add-on !

I've a strange issue with Accu-feel...it simply don't appear in my add-on menu....
The first installation was bad because I didn't exclude my Fsx folder from MSE...The second one was ok but still no Accu-feel in sight...I mean there is no "Accu-Feel" in my add-on menu , on the menu bar in my FSX....
I've tried to uninstall et reinstall again but still the same result =(
I know it's problably a little thing who's wrong but what??

Thank you for your help guys!

my system :FSX Acc /W7 i72600k @4.4/8ggDDR3/ATI5870.

I assume you did not get any notification for a new dll after the install? If so, this means it hasn't loaded.

Check your:
C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\dll.xmll file, and look for two Accu-Feel entries. These have to be there.

Then check your MODULES folder for two Accu-Feel dlls.

Scott.

HI Scott,

Thank to reply so fast!

On my first install , I've confirmed the installation of the dlls (twice it's seems to me) but there were no messagse for this same DLLs on the second install...
2 Accu-feel are on my module's folder but no one in my roaming/microsoft/Fsx....ok the problem seems to be here...What can I do?Because I've tried to reinstall it once again but it's still the same....

Thank you again!

OK, something in your system was preventing the installer from accessing this file. Not sure what, but you can edit this manually and it will work.

Add this to your dll.xml:

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>A2A Feel</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>Modules\A2A_Feel.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>AccuFeelMenu</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>Modules\AccuFeelMenu.dll</Path>
</Launch.Addon>

Scott.

Mine installed correctly, I see the menu and it works fine, but even if I select the default cessna, it has no effect, the app starts up with all sliders set to 0 and off, the plane is listed on the bottom of the app so it is seeing it OK, but nothing I do has any effect, all switched on etc, sliders set to several different positions, nothing, open the door, no wind, tyre squeal is basic default.

A puzzle, I really would like to get it working as I think it is a fantastic addition.

Avian,

are you running FSX SP2/acceleration?

If you are running Microsoft security essentials please consult the manual for how to add the needed exceptions.

Also can I please just check you completed the installation including the all important direct X installer.

thanks,
Lewis - A2A

So they are inside, yet you never got the confirmation to accept a new DLL when loading?

Can you paste the contents of your C:\Users\[YOUR USER NAME]\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\dll.xmll file?

As this issue is now being dealt with in the other thread I will post in that rather than two threads.

But to answer the questions here, I do not have MSE installed, it did the full install including the Directx aspect which declined to change anything as it said an equal or more up to date version was already installed.

I am running FSX SP2.

I did have to confirm the dll when it first loaded.

on reinstalling I got asked to reboot, I also did that.

I have posted up the contents of the dll.xml in the other thread and will continue in there, rather than jump about from thread to thread, apologies for already having posted in two!
