Great plugin... well Just installed and didn't try so much.. just to see it works after a little issue I had.

What I would like to see in future desperatelly is the failure and maintenance for all the planes possible. Specially the Carenado ones.
One interesting thing to add would be the flying over danger zones so a hit with a bird.. or bullets when flying over war areas (as fspassengers) would be possible.
All to make all flyings more challenging and fun.

I know it is soon.. but I hope you take that path after the sounds are quite well done. I would pay for it as another addom for sure!

Japo,

This is a VERY big subject, and one we know well. It's something we can explore, but have to with great respect. I assume you have at least one of our Accu-Sim birds? If you like this kind of realism, the B-17, Spitfire, or P-40?

Scott.

No.. I don't have any of the birds.. but I have seen all the videos.
I produce planes for x-plane (JRollon planes) and want what you have for mines.. of course at a lower level. I woun't pretend to have a really complex failure system for other planes than A2A. Because I know each one has their programming.. But the main reason I ask is because I know your planes are great but they are not the type of planes I like to fly. If TacPack is realeased and they let your birds put weapons.. and there are online missions, then I will buy for sure.. but I usually fly civilian planes and like the general aviation ones. Carenado... etc..

One near is the piper.. but for me is really slow plane. Sure is great but I need something like a bonanza, or baron. So that is why if someday you make a failure system, you will have my buying for sure... because you will let people use your ACCU-SIM in any plane they choose (even if it is not as power as ACCU-SIM, because the coplexity).

Thanks!

Scott,

Going along with this suggestion, has A2A approached/been approached by other developers about doing third party Accu-sim expansions?

Birds like the forth-coming PMDG DC-6 seem like a perfect opportunity to team up, as simulating the task of managing a quartet of Radials is right in A2A's wheel house. I also second the Carenado birds; They're beautiful, but always felt a bit sterile to me.

I think add those failures to the carenado ones should be possible and seamless. With my totally unknown how the carenado planes are done in systems.. I think it is possible because I believe they use the default FSX data for oil temperature, pressure, gas, mixture.. etc.. So if you modify the FSX data in paralell as you do with ACCU-SIM.. then you will modify all the carenado planes.. and you won't need any authorization to make that addom for the carenado planes, because they will work for the default and Carenado.

I use a MCP combo2 with Linda.. and when loading my Carenado bonanza a36 it load as a default plane profile... and works. Don't know why it shouldn't work for the failures you do, and maintenance you do.

Carenado are great to work on, becuase they are beautiful planes BUT they are boring, because you know NEVER they are gonna fail.. Always the oil temperature is going to be good.. always the pressure.. and other systems. Maybe the flap break because overspeed... or a engine reduction of power (sometimes I have that).. BUT nothing more. So boring.

BUT if you could put not only those failure systems.. but also birds collisions (there are some birds flying sometimes) so something occurs when you hit a bird.. or flying over war zones (there are definitions of prohibited areas or danger areas, so you can define which countries are at war.. so make flaks or gun shoots....) well.. that one maybe is an stupid idea.. but I think with the tools you have and you have done from seen in videos, you could make whatever you like for modify the default planes and lots of vendors planes that uses default data, as Carenado ones.

Of course I would buy that addom. It is totally needed that addom.
by the way.. I am waiting the P51 with Accusim. That is the one that I want to buy from you.

Hi,

what i found is when i want to mute FSX pressing "Q", accu feel sounds are still audible.
It does not bother me cause i normally do not mute any sounds, but maybe this mute function can be combined with "Q" key of FSX.

Regards Nico

Sounds like a feature more than a "glitch" to me. An excellent way to determine Accusim sounds from the aircrafts when troubleshooting.
