Impressive 8) the proper designation, just so you know, is Howard DGA-21.

Is that DGA based out of Santa Paula?

Percival Vega Gull. Ok, my turn.

What is this?

Yes, that DGA-21 Mr. Dickenson is based out of Santa Paula; I was there for first flight. In the AOPA Pilot article he claimed he could beat a Baron in a race. My Dad and I challenged him in our Baron and he has yet to set a time and place  .

That is a mini-mustang of some sort...there's a fiberglass one being built at Santa Paula too (along with a BD-5 jet)

Okay, whats this?

Well that P-51 kit replica isn't an easy one. It's a Stewart S-51; very few built. The one being built out of Santa Paula is a Legendary Aircraft (used to be Fighter Escort Wings) P-51, but I believe that company went bankrupt. Other P-51 replicas include Thunder Mustangs and Titan Mustangs.

Santa Paula has a lot of cool airplanes; I should fly down there one day.

I give up on the other airplane. What's this:

Let's give the others a chance...

Oh, Santa Paula will be done by Orbx once the SoCal scenery is released, probably late next year, so by 2013, you can fly there for the price of some electricity and an A2A add-on!

Rather fly there in real life, :-). Do you know when their NorCal scenery will be done and what airport it will include?

as far as I know all the airports in the N Cal area will be upgraded ala NZSI, CRM...etc which are all quite nice. Many of the NZSI airports have peopleflow and enhanced airport environments. I am not sure what airports are selected for high detail releases. Being in wine country, I wouldn't mind seeing one of the wine country airports done such as Sonoma Skypark.

btw the yellow plane in Peter's post is a Dyke Delta.

I believe the little red biplane is called a Skyote, beyond that I know very little of it.

Try this one.

Nope, it's a Rose Parrakeet.

Try posting your image again, it didn't show up.

Man, imo that Sea Dart has got to rank as one of the ugliest aircraft ever made! I've thought that since I was a little kid.

Well since I didn't get any takers, I'll post the link to the restoration website:

http://www.peckaeroplanerestoration.com/Zenith/z.htm

The airplane is a Zenith Z6A. 1 of 5 built in 1929, the only survivor, and I had the pleasure of seeing the restored model at the final Bartlesville bi-plane expo in 2009. She's a HUGE biplane, and probably one of the most intriguing, unique airplanes that I've ever laid eyes on.

Cheers!

Bud
