Hi everyone!
Well I took my girlfriend up flying today. It's her first time in a small aircraft. She did great and really enjoyed the flight. One of the pictures she snapped was so amazing I wanted to share it with you all. It's looking at Broken Top mountain with the Three Sisters behind it. Just got some snow fall last week so things looked amazing. I love flying in the Pacific Northwest!

Nice! You'll look back on this photo someday, and you won't remember this because of the picture's beauty, but more of the memory it preserves. Now you can have loads of fun since you've got your license. What's your next goal?

Thanks, Peter. The next goal is to finish out these next three terms at school. That'll put a Bachelors degree in my pocket. As for the rest....as we so often say in aviation, "Standby." Lots of decisions and choices to be made in the coming months. The ultimate goal for me is to one day be lucky enough to get into the warbird community. Even if I only got to fly it once, the P-47 is what I'd love to get a shot at. Who knows what the future holds. As long as there are airplanes in it, I'll be ok!

Nice photo!!

"Well I took my girlfriend up flying today"

Just remember, it has to be 6,000ft to qualify, not 5280ft

Peter,

Don't worry if you don't get it. Puberty will kick in eventually.... 8)

Does it have anything to do with the fact that 5280 happens to coincide with the distance of a mile and 6,000 is a nautical mile?
