I was looking on the Smithsonian's archive website, and found this picture of the 377's cockpit, there's some guages there that we don't have...

Also, if you go to this Boeing archive/stock photo site, and find a 377 flight deck picture, you'll find the same guages we don't have. Maybe this is something to fix?

No, thats a different variant than the one modelled by A2A. This is more like the kind that United Airlines used, although it is slightly different than that as well. In any case, the one depicted in your picture doesn't have an engineering panel, and all that stuff has been crammed into the overhead and the pedestal. In this one, I think what you are seeing hanging off the front of the overhead is a radio panel, whereas in the UA airplane, it was actually the fuel panel.

If you check out some more from that link, you'll find one with extra stuff on teh main panel, and also an FE panel.

So what "stuff" do you think is is missing? :) :) I think you might be referring to Cylinder head temps and Intercooler flap positions on the main panel; Obviously on the A2A airplane those are on the engineering panel.

There appears to be about 5 or six guages below the pilot's engine instruments, I'm sure Boeing know's what pictures are which, so they're not incorrect images. I was just pointing out there were some things I've seen on almost all pictures I've found that show these types of guages, so I was curious.

Again different variant of the B377. Most likely the UA variant.

Yep different variants and different operating companies. Not all aircraft are the same. The F104 for example was almost entirely custom made for the customer being the large export success it was.

Sounds like a bit of a challenge for the Accusim crew... :P Off topic, but were there any major differences between them or were they all functionally similar?

It would be very interesting to include other airline's Stratocruisers, mayeb BOAC's version was different? The F-104 does sound liek a sort-of challenge, doesn't it?
