So I thought I'd record a Circuit. The circuit went well, and I didn't bounce, and turned off the active, and stopped recording. On playback, the prop doesn't start, but she takes off and flies a great circuit with exhaust gas, and engine noise, following the throttle settings and pitch change, but a frozen prop. Feels weird. And the gear stays DOWN. (Although I retracted it on my circuit) Until I land, when as soon as the wheels touch, the gear flicks 85% retracted, the port leg not quite fully up. But she runs along the ground just fine, as if the gear was still down, and turns off, and sits there idling. So then when I stop playback, and press pause to continue, THEN she notices she is sitting nose in the air with no visible means of support, and the engine idling; so she drops onto the ground and bends the prop- all three blades, although they aren't rotating. Which is a neat trick.
Now I'd like to be able to record a few good circuits, but clearly there are some subtleties I am missing here. Any advice and suggestions gratefully received.
Cheers, John
