Stick to the power settings in the shift-3 (or was it shift-2?) menu. On decent, I use 2200RPM, 26-27" MP, manifold selector 8, and decend at -1000fpm. This setting gives a good decent power, and makes sure the engine is not being wind-milled.

I have a strange problem each time I make a long hop or trip with the b17 accusim.
after a couple of hours flying my needles of the MP or going up and down.
I see at the throttles they go up and down which causes problem to continue.
Does someone know what this could be?

kind regards

Doeke

Doeke, the throttles themselves are going up and down?

If so, what's your throttle/hotas system?

Cheers,

not the throttles of my precision flight console but the throttles of the b17 and also the manifold pressure needles
in the cockpit.

Dayum..
When this is happening, could you go into your control panel -> devices and printers and see if the throttles of your flight console are generating spikes (i.e. going up and down rapidly)? If you don't know how to check, let me know and I'll write a how-to.

What version of windows are you running?

Are the throttles that you can see in the 3D cockpit going up and down?

Does it only happen in a long flight? Does it go away after a while? What happens if you move your throttle back a bit, and than up again?

My radio man is MIA its been doing this for a few long flights now where I wouldnt hear anything from him, usually he would say he picked something up from a local radio station but recently all I've been hearing is the sound of wind and the engines and my crew making occasional comments but no music. How do i solve this?

Have you checked the Switchbox BC345 and the intercom beside the pilot and copilot the switch should be like this at lest the right one to hear the music and radio chatter

Well since that started happening one of my crew members said "someone left their oxygen tank in the radio room" wonder if that has anything to do with my radio man missing...o.O
