Thanks Lewis. There are several period photographs of this particular Spitfire that show this one was pretty clean at the time the pictures were taken.

Great repaint! I just did a formation flight with this Spitfire with some other Mk1a's... I'm posting pictures of the scramble takeoff and flight on A2A's Facebook page in a minute!

Given the rate of attrition the early spitfires would indeed of been very clean, I love it! 8)
