Hi. Just installed the new Spitfire in FSX - totally blown away. An amazing product. I set failures and realism so as to ignore damage and so on. Had a prang and now cant get the Spitfire to load undamaged. I have tried most things - no luck. Can anyone help? I totally get the purist thing about carrying wear and damage forward but I am in this for the fun of trying these great aircraft. Thanks in advance someone ..... :(

Press <shift>7 and then press the "Overhaul" button in the window. That should mend your broken Spitfire.

Do yourself a big favour, have a look at the manual, it tells you where everything is, and how to run this complex bird. It will save you a lot of time in the long run, believe me :)

Also, be aware that you will have to be on the ground with your engine stopped to be able to access the maintenance hangar.
