By 1942 surviving Mk I Spitfires were being transfered to training units, I have created 3 such Spitfire Mk Ia OTU (Operational Training Unit) repaints. They can be downloaded directly from this link.

download mirror; http://www.filedropper.com/a2awop3spitfireotu-pack

download mirror; http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34075223/downlo ... U-Pack.zip

It is also available at Sim-outhouse.com in ther addon downloads section.

UPDATE: AR213 has been updated to include the yellow ID strips on the wing leading edges. Please download this file and overwrite to older version.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I, AR212. LV-N. 57 OTU, Royal Air Force. Hawarden 16th March 1942. This peculiar schemed Mk Ia was used as a 'jumper' aircraft to train RAF recruits on Luftwaffe fighter tactics. For this reason it was given a yellow nose to distinguish it as the 'enemy'.

Supermarine Spitfire Mk.I, AR213. JZ-E. 57 OTU, Royal Air Force. Personal aircraft of RAF ACE, James 'Ginger' Lacey

Spitfire Mk Ia HK854. 1 Middle East Training School, Royal Air Force. El Ballah, Egypt, 1942. This aircraft was one of two Mk Ia Spitfires sent directly to Turkey in 1940. Somehow they both returned to RAF inventory in the Middle East being re-serialled as HK854 and HK856.

If you decide to give this Spitfire a flight in Egypt... good luck keeping her cool :D

There should be a folder and an instructions.txt file, do you get the following structure?

WoP3_Spitfire (Folder)
Instructions.txt (Text File)

Indeed it was me being an Idiot, hook, line sinker and copy of Anglian Times on stand by,..."Step up to red alert. "
"Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb."

Awesome skins again! You even turned Lewis into a little leg-humping terrier. Good Job!

In AR213 right now. Took out from Alderney, and am flying up to the Isles of Scilly for a nice little VFR flight around the area. Thankfully the weather over the northern channel is actually quite nice in this area.
