I bought your spitfire with accusim and it is just amazing but I don't get any thrust in the Mk.IIb, I give full power and it won't move. When I'm looking at the spit from the outside I don't hear any engine sound.

The rest of the spitfire fleet work's amazing.

I hope that you know how to fix this

If you reload the aircraft (aircraft drop down menu while in sim) and select the aircraft again, does it work?

This sometimes occurs when the plane and engine software do not sync up (for whatever reason). There should be measures to prevent this from happening however. The quick fix is to simply reload the aircraft. However, I have made the team aware of the issue.

It seems there is a more serious problem. It didnt't happen with another accusimed planes.
For me - this problem appears very often, also exaclty with the engine starting. What stops work:
-nav lights
-landing lights
-starter button don't fall back - it stay pressed
-no thrust - plane dosen't move
-FPS goes down

Reloading aircraft helps, but restarting means almost another cold start
Anyway, this spit is realy impressive, and the sound system is the best of all accusims in my opinion. 8)

I am not having issues with lights or a degradation in FPS.
I have observed problems getting the aircraft, (MKI) to move. Have not tried the MKII...yet.
This appears to happen sporadically and I observe no thread of continuity regarding the lack of thrust.

I also observed the starter button staying in. I did not know whether this is/was the way it is supposed to be.
I am sure there is an explanation and no worries on my end.

Hey guys,

Please make sure you are installing as admin (right click open as administrator) if running Win7, also make sure you complete a system re-start after install.

Also make sure exceptions are made were needed in any intrusive anti-virus software, if the anti virus is scanning each file as its used this can cause problems.

thanks,
Lewis

Hi,

There is a bug in FSX that means the model doesn't work - are the switches clickable/movable when it is in this state?

If not, then load the MS Cessna ahead of loading the Spitfire - this should solve the issue.

Out of interest I load the Spitfire after the P-47 and I haven't experienced any issues doing this.

Best regards,
Robin.

it happend again today, it occured after I did a complete engine overhaul. There was a outboard sound and it reacted on the throttle, after I blew the engine ,I swaped it and after that there was the correct sound the full throttle sound while I was sitting in the cockpit but non when I was looking from the outside and I could get any thrust with the throttle fully forward.

The other WOP3 Spitfires with accusim are working flawless

I did a reinstall of the Spitfires and selected the MK.1a and everything went fine, I did a flight and landed. Then I shut down the engine to refuel then waited for it to cool down so I could restart it and when I restarted the engine there was no sound in the outside veiws and there was no thrust. All this happened in the same flight.

kcgb,

Can you recreate this condition? If so, can you post the exact steps you took to make this occur?

Scott.

Alright but I just had a thought, every time it happens I have minimized FSX and then come back to it. When it happens at the start of the flight I have minimized FSX while it is loading the flight (it takes a long time on my system) and while I was waiting for the engine to cool I minimized FSX. I will go do some tests.
