Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
I hope you all had a Great Christmas and a grand New Year. Holidays are over and I'm sure you're all now like me back at the grindstone slaving over the counter, desk and what not.
Anyway we are getting pretty close now to our first release for 2011, a year which we are hoping will be truly something special for A2A, building upon a great base from 2010. So to show you what we have been playing with (And us Brits and Ozzies on the team in particular) here is a set of Screen shots from just one of the Accu-sim Spitfires.
The extra out of sim coding on this beasty is the furthest we have every gone before for an add-on. We ripped out much of the generic stuff that FSX does and replaced it with pure simulation code specifically created to simulate a liquid cooled combustion engine of the 40's and in this case the infamous Merlin. The New Accu-sim builds upon our already award winning code base, consolidates everything and then thrusts it forward so that not only will you be flying the most realistic Spitfire simulation on the market for any Flight Simulator but also will have the chance to truly 'own' the aircraft, but more on that later...
Check out this monster of a wooden prop. You can swap out a variable and constant speed on the fly thanks to Accu-Sim's aircraft management.

How about a high power run up with the ground crew around to hold the tail down?
