Sorry we've been so quiet, but we're pretty deep in development. We recently went up in the beautiful, "Moonbeam McSwine." Owner and operator, Vlado Lenoch, has quite an impressive history. He not only has over 8,000 hours total time, he has a masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering from MIT, is ATR rated in the Boeing 727, is a flight instructor in single, multi, and gliders, has an LOA (License of Authorization) for the L-39, T-33, P51, and others, and interestingly, his uncle Cvitan Gallc, was a 36 victory Luftwaffe fighter ace.

During our visit, Vlado gave walk around that you will see here.

Stay tuned for our next dev video where we take flight and capture this beautiful mustang in flight.

Scott

I always soo impressed how beatiful this plane is...

i mean look at the surfaces, the bolts (it's a strange thing that all this beauty built for killing)

anyway.......

next time put some pillows under Captain Jakey's, and his ready to go ;)

a few question about the upcomming product (product= yellow top Stringer Bell;)

-can you tell about that the engine management will be as more complex as in the B-17accu? like "rip apart" stly engine block?

-will be there a joy config utily like in the b17? especially the keyboard config part? (key combo's to the smallest switches too)

-is there any chance to integrate some modern avionics or at least using the plane without a gun sight optics?

i just asking these thing;)

They have always had a joystick configuration utility since the first one (377).. Just cannot configure every single switch/button to a joystick button/switch. I have always used it to link the turbo levers to my slider switch on my X52. The B-17 I have done the same for the manifold pressure knob, and a few of the other cockpit controls. I certaintly imagine they would take the engine maitenance to the next level. That Merlin V-12 has a lot of parts. Hopefully it lasts for quite a few hours unlike the radial engines. Video is certaintly interesting.. Maybe they will take the feature of grabbing the prop on the Cub, and incorporate that into the walkaround (like the video) wiggling control surfaces and stuff. I doubt it, but you never know around here. Would be pretty cool stuff none the less. All we really need now is a maitenance control to release the aircraft safe for flight.

Oh damn I got the chills when I watched this video. And this will be the best, all time, Accu-sim P-51 ever!

If you think about it, every new release has been "the best accusim ever." A2A could easily slap the same framework and features into every plane, making slight tweaks and accommodations here and there, and most of us would still be quite happy. Instead, they take their system to a new level with every release, and it's just incredible. I can't wait! :D

I'm ready for it!
It is really impressive how much work you guys put in to the aircraft you develop. I am definitley a huge fan of accusim. I have had so much enjoyment with the B-17. I am looking forward to what the P-51 has to offer.

Thank you
Andrew

Hi,

I'm a big Mustang fan following this thread and can't await the Mustang. Can you give a statement when you think it will be released? I think it will be a great product and i hope you will realize a realistic handling of the different cowl flaps this time.

Thank you and keep it up!
