Hi!

Thanks for the help!

I use version 4.30.

I did exactly what you said, but I'm unable to get it to work yet..

I'll post a screenshot of what I see on the scrolldown menu from the 'control sent when button pressed/released'.

The mcro file does show up in the .ini file from FSUIPC

Also, in that dropdown menu only the standard lines (fsx standard) are given (I believe non from the macro file)

Would your version of FSUIPC be different?

Yes my version is different. Yours might be early enough version that these macro functions do not work. If you have paid for FSUIPC4 then as far as I know you can update to the latest version for free(I always do!). Try downloading version 4.6 from here and installing.

When you have extracted and run the installer just click 'check existing registration' and it should work fine.

EDIT: yep, i have just downloaded 4.60 and the macro system seems to work fine with it. Try it yourself and see what happens

Flashman,

Thank you so much for this! I was digging around here for a way to make the starter switch work and found this. It is people like you andthe guys here at A2A that make this a such a great community and Flight Simming such a wonderful experience.
