Hello hello hello,

Scott and Capt Jakey have been busy running around again. This time visiting friends for the mustang and gathering that all important source material to create the best A2A products we possibly can.

Creating a good 3d model is but one small piece of the ever increasing puzzle, here is a quick video from the recent trip showing just what goes on during these trips and a quick sample of the high quality industry standard sound equipment we use to help gather our source for the audio.

High Quality version can be viewed here;

thanks,
Lewis and the A2A team

Excellent video Scott. Image Sounds just like the Glamorous Gal I know from Mid Atlantic's WWII Weekend. There's nothing like the sound of a Merline engine on a highspeed pass. Or a ride in the rear seat of a P-51.

Thanks, Mr. Lewis "Lewis-A2A"!

Mr. Scott G. and Capt. Jakey have done a real nice job with this video...
I've been waiting for this model to get Accu-simmed and adding it to my collection. Image

PS: Is the F-4 Accu-Sim research-trip next on the travel agenda :?:

We never say what is next, because you never know what may or may not happen. Only when we return from a trip and have confirmed we have captured all we need to have, do we make an announcement. Remote / live recordings are always unpredictable, yet we are in a constant state of research and capturing data first hand which is almost always a key part of the process.

Scott.

Thanks for posting the video and sharing with us.
That video brings tears of joy to the eyes. The level of passion you guys have is unique and much appreciated.
Looking forward to seeing her in all her glory when done.
Thanks Capt. Jakey, Scott and all others involved.

I'm gonna paste my comment here that I left on Youtube:

Very nice! Great work on the video (a fully fledged documentation, really) and of course the A2A products. Beautiful aircraft. Truly the Cadillac of the skies.

Ooh I can't wait for this one. Nice vid to watch on a Monday morning while I'm drinking the first coffee of the day.

Can we have a version with a GPS and modern nav gear, like in Glamorous Gal maybe??????? And maybe a seat in back for Heidi??? (I know the answer already, but if we keep asking.....)

Thanks all at A2A.

Great video, thanks for that. The P-51 engine sure sounds different than the P-47.

The P-51 runs a merlin engine, and yes it is VERY VERY VERY different.

Incredible sound from the high quality audio. I was listening on a fairly large and bassy audio system, and I literally reared back from the monitor when the "switch" was made; the difference was so drastic. Great stuff, and beautiful aircraft.

Can't wait to see how you guys handle liquid-cooled engines with Accu-Sim!

Great video of Glamerous Gal. Here is a link to a 360 view of a P-51D cockpit. Enjoy!

Sorry mate, that's a P-51B/C model. They look so much different in the pit, it's crazy the C/B are the same plane as the D.

Sorry Lewis

The friend who sent me the link said it was a "D" and I took him at his word. I guess we all make mistakes sometimes!

Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down!
