It's been wonderful working on a Wings of POWER aircraft again. Our first girl is looking beautiful in FSX colors.

Thank you everyone for your patients.

Yea me too... a bit confused that is... which version is this for? I thought that the WOPII version was always FSX? Will this work for the WWII fighters P-51D or is it an update for the FSX Version (WOP2)?

This is The Fix for WWII Fighters and WoP2 P51D (which are the same) for FSX.
It fixes FSX classic texture transparency issues: propeller disk, cockpit glazing, VC screws, etc. The Cure was to make them native FSX aircrafts.

These Mustangs were upgraded to Hi-Resolution: four main textures for external model instead of one texture for WoP version hence it won't work with WoP Pony.

regards
ROB

Hi...
So, does this mean that all I need to do is install my WOP2 WW2 Fighters which is "FSX compatible" into my FSX Gold version and then apply this latest P-51FSX fix? :D
Thanks
Roy Marsh

Thanks for the fix.. It's awsome. This now makes me want the Acusim P51 even more. Any real rough info about when the acusim Mustang will be out? 6 months, a year????

Yes. That is my currently installed version as well, and the patch works.

This patch should also work for these releases of the Mustang:
- WOP II 'Solo' P-51D;
- Aircraft Power Pack bonus P-51D for FSX;
- Aircraft Power Pack 2 (which is largely a re-release of Wings of Power II: WWII Fighters).

The patch will not work with:
- Wings of Power P-51D/P-51H pack for FS9.
- FirePower bonus P-51D for Combat Flight Simulator 3.

I hope this helps. :)
