I have a friend of mine who is good with web design...i am sure he will help out...he has been a gaming bud of mine for years and has done several sites...he does very nice work...I can probably supply a ventrilo server use as well. This would be my first attempt at joining a VA. But i will help out in any way i can.

Trying to log on through TS having no luck, what PW does the PW go into and are we using Registered or Anonymous? I tried setting it up like a couple of other Servers I have and kept getting error.

Cool I'm up and running on the TS channel if any one wants to go flying. I'll be flying all day (10-07-08).

Hello gentlemen,

Only yesterday have I installed the Stratocruiser on my system and I am already hooked!

Now I came here and found this thread about a possible vintage VA flying planes from the glorious propeller days. This idea has intrigued me for quite some time already and I would be very interested in joining such a VA.

I am a veteran of the VAs (co-founded the very first VA Sunair Express in 1992 together with the late James Swanson from Tampa on the Compuserve BBS) and my favorite planes are the Connies, Strats, Vickers or Junkers prop planes. Unfortunately I have no computer skills, I can only USE them....

As this thread has been quiet for some time, I hope to find an update here soon by reviving it this bringing it closer to the top of the list.... :)

Thank you and have fun at all times!

Scorpio -

If you would like to see a vintage VA, take a quick look at the DC-3 Airways that hobofat mentioned.

http://www.dc3airways.com/

The downside is that they limit you to flying DC-3's (DC-4's are also allowed, but this is a DC-3 VA).

I also would love to see a VA created that flies the Stratocruiser - and any other classic aircraft that is coming down the pike from A2A :D

Thank you Gonzo588.

I am aware of that particular VA, but as you said, they are strictly limiting themselves to one aircraft.
That is why I find the proposal discussed here much more interesting and I think limiting the choice of aircraft to one only is not a good idea in view of survival and attractiveness in the VA marketplace.

So, let´s hope that we´ll soon read an announcement here that a VA flying the Stratocruiser, the Constellation, Vickers aircraft and others is launching in the near future.

Have a great day!
Cheers,
Scorpio

That makes at least three of us then....

Welcome back. Anything new about the idea of a B377 VA then?

Have a great time and enjoy many happy landings.
