Hey guys,
I am interested in getting back into painting AI aircraft for FSX/P3D. I used to paint a fair amount for FS9 and was able to view the work in the sim as I went along by placing the paint in the aircraft folder and selecting it as if it were flyable. Is there any way to do that in P3D? Without a working VC, aircraft do not show up in the list of planes.
Thanks,

Re: Viewing AI aircraft in P3D question
No really a direct answer to the question, but have you tried the free ModelConverterX tool for viewing in-progress repaints? It's a lot quicker than firing up FSX/P3D each time.

Nick,
I use AI-Editor by Martin Gossmann, but I am looking for a good way to actually work with the AI plane in the sim.
