Looking for FS Repaint replacement

Post by skyhawk »

I am using Abacus FS Repaint for viewing and adjusting textures directly on the models. (Most of the paintwork is done in Adobe Photoshop/CC 2017).
However, FS Repaint is getting rather old now (originally designed for FS9) and has poor support for HR textures (4096x4096 and 2048x2048).
As far as I know, Abacus does not have any plans for further development of FSR.

So, while I am struggeling with more and more complex templates, I am looking for a FS Repaint replacement.
Are there any recommendations (payware/freeware)?

Yes there is. It is called ModelConverter X. It is free and great to work with. I ditches FSRepaint long time ago once I was pointed to this software.
