Photoshop DDS Plugin

Post by Cpt. Lennox »

Hey there,

I´m using Photoshop 11 to edit the files. Is there a Plugin for *.dds files? I found one from Nvidia but neither the 32-bit, nor the 64-bit version works.

Regards
David

I have no problems. I however copied the files accross from my CS5 installation to CC 2017.

FS painter. You'll find most of my FS9/FSX/P3D paints here.

Hi David,
I don't have PS 11 currently, but I ran into a similar problem when I first tried to use the Nvidia plug-in. What I found was that the plug-in installer had not placed the file "dds64.8bi" where it needed to be, I was able to just copy and paste it to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop{version}\Required\Plug-Ins\File Formats

Hope this helps. :)

Is that Elements 11? The nVidia dds plug-in is for Photoshop CS2 - CS6. It also mainly works with the CC series as well.
