very nice, though I am not too keen on the shadows on the fuselage above the wing that come with the pqaintkit

On my skin I used the baked shadow layer but changed the opacity of it. No baked shadow layer looked kinda 'plastic' and too much looks off as well.

Excellent technique. I'll bear that in mind. Is that paint available to the great unwashed or is it just for you to drool over?

on my paints, I left the baked layer, but removed most of the stuff above the wings, but left all the other shadows intact.
Looks much better, or at least I think so...

I edited the baked layer as well now to remove most of the shadows on that part.
