Very nice repaint. The red looks good on the Stang.

Re: My first Mustang
Thank you!
I'm currently having a Bo105-Week with some airbrush liveries for the NemethDesigns one.
After that you may expect the release

very nice, though I am not too keen on the shadows on the fuselage above the wing that come with the pqaintkit

What does it look like with 'Baked shadows' layer switched off?jcblom wrote:very nice, though I am not too keen on the shadows on the fuselage above the wing that come with the pqaintkit

Re: My first Mustang
On my skin I used the baked shadow layer but changed the opacity of it. No baked shadow layer looked kinda 'plastic' and too much looks off as well.Ron Attwood wrote:What does it look like with 'Baked shadows' layer switched off?jcblom wrote:very nice, though I am not too keen on the shadows on the fuselage above the wing that come with the pqaintkit

I would recommend trying this direction first.

Re: My first Mustang
I dont like that part either tbh.
I have released her for now and I'll update the paint as soon as I get the time to do so again.

Excellent technique. I'll bear that in mind. Is that paint available to the great unwashed or is it just for you to drool over?
EDIT: OK, I just read the post on the link. Respect.

Re: My first Mustang
on my paints, I left the baked layer, but removed most of the stuff above the wings, but left all the other shadows intact.
Looks much better, or at least I think so...

Re: My first Mustang
I edited the baked layer as well now to remove most of the shadows on that part.
