Well I appreciate the comment but you can't think about it that way. You should of seen my first few paints! they were so FUBAR I couldn't post em because I was too ashamed... so then I said to myself that I have to dedicate some time and willpower and started practicing more and more and only then I was able to start figuring it out.

It takes time and everyone here or wherever they are had to start just like I did and I had to start just like other really good painters out there. You'll get it and you'll start to see how it all comes together and how each and every little thing you do works better and better as you do more and more paints.

You'll see! before long you'll be amazed at your own work and then look back on it and think how you did that but sub-consciously already having that knowledge and at the same time you will automatically seek that same knowledge only to make your next paint even better, that's how it works.

You'll get it. Just don't give up.

One thing I noticed in your paint is that the paintkit must have two separate fuselage pieces that you have to mend together. I can tell this because of where and how the line stops and also on your other paint is the same way. This is OK because first of all these types of paintkits (where there are several pieces) making up one fuselage are very tough sometimes to get it aligned. This is natural and will *again* only get better in time. You've chosen a very detailed paintkit to do this with so It's to be expected the first few times, no biggie. Try another paintkit that has the entire section on one sheet like the P51, C182, Cherokee, 172.... then once you learn more about the actual paint program the other paintkits will come easier like the p-40 kit.

Yeah. It's a strange one. It's a single 6144 x 4096 texture, with separate files for main texture and alpha, which you then have to cut up into five pieces and combine. The same for the spec textures as well. So it's five main textures and five spec textures. Having ModelConverterX is a boon for this one.

Steve.
