I did a search and couldn't see where anyone has done this one...... If nobody is working her....she is my next victim.

Re: Anyone working on N7920P Comanche
I'm not the best barometer as I have and look at so many every day but I seem to recall this one either being done or a similar paint being done, the read end looks very familar but the front with the red over the hood I cant recall seeing before.
Not much help but if someone can help why I have that annoying feeling it'd be appreciated hehe
thanks,
Lewis

Look familiar to me too. But I'm thinking it was a C182 that Tim Scharnhop did. Very similar. I reckon it's all yours.
Or maybe my own C172 G-BRBI

I think it was posted in the Comanche paint request thread before but I haven't seen anyone do it. Well at least I haven't seen a finished version on the forums here. There's a similar paint for the C182:

I would love to see it on the Comanche though. Great paintjob!
EDIT: I found the repaint for the C182 N182CX

I did a Cherokee back a way.... It was my 'Purple Passion' (aka - turn in the barrel). Maybe that is what is being remembered. Since then, like Ron, I see purple and I get a great desire to run the other way.

Late to the party but that looks like the AOPA scheme done on the Comanche, I'm not sure if Alan was playing around with that one or not (EightyFiftyFive).........might want to give him a shout

It was so nice to see out of my left eye again that I went to work on it....one eyed. One more week of 'vision hell' and I should have better vision then I have ever had, or at least since age 4 (68 years). I'll be posting this one as soon as I get the files ready. This one has more layers than a wedding cake.
