My attempts to repaint have so far gone well... so far...
Today I opened up my PSD and added the correct colour to the spinner (now I know which bit it is!) That's it, nothing spectacular. Then I saved it as TGA as always, then exported to DXT5 from DXTbmp (and remembered to reverse and alpha). Mipmaps are off.
When I loaded up FSX, the plane has an odd bluish tint - then I noticed that the colouring includes the FSX splash screen details, like you sometimes get with missing textures for glass on the cockpit gauges... Sure enough in the cockpit, the gauges all have the same thing!
The other default PA28 repaints look fine, so it must be something I've done...
Could someone tell me what I've done wrong please?!!!
Missing reflection map?
Re: Missing reflection map?
Ignore - works fine on my home pc - there's definitely something wrong with my work one, even after three wipe and reinstalls!

Re: Missing reflection map?
If you are using photoshop you can save as dds within photoshop using the nvidia plugin, that'll cut out a few steps for you. For FSX, is your FSX all updated to the latest and what are your settings in FSX, dx9 or 10? Also what are your PC specs at work?
thanks,
Lewis
