Should have some time in the next week to get started. I'll go ahead and commit to doing this one next once C-FBPU is done. Looking forward to adding that weathered look. 8)

Just want to let you know that I haven't forgot about this repaint, I'm hoping to have something to show soon. Work and life always manage to get in the way of doing cool stuff.

If you have more pictures of the inside, that would be real helpful with getting a custom interior.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it. Please no rush..my dad will love this..he didn't even know until recently that it was still alive and kicking and being flown regularly.

The only ones I have are the ones in flickr link..when the plane was blue the interior seats and upper door panels were blue vinyl with a blue/grey fabric on the lower portion. ( a bit different the layout of the A2A stock Comanche though.) The dash and panel were black and the carpet was the same as the lower door panels..blue/grey.

FYI it was flown out of KISP (Islip Macarthur) It was kept outside when it was blue so it took a pretty bad beating and was never very pretty until it was repainted and hangerd with an experimental P51 of all things..I put the photo of the interior of the hanger in the above link..I believe the P51 was restored and is flying today as well.

(When it was red the interior was all black. Not sure what it is now with its current owner but I know it has high back bucket seats in it..)

Thanks again!

Hey Snake,

Hope your'e well. I've gone ahead and made this. I'm not sure if anyone else has made it yet but I thought this was a good opportunity and took it. I hope you enjoy. It is a great looking aircraft and I hope I have captured it in this paint.
