Hi Guys,

My father has about 800hrs in this Comanche and owned it form many years through the 70s and into the early 80s and had many a fun family vacation in it.

Heres a few shots of it over the years and its still flying today in the yellow and brown trim.

Any chance someone could do the blue repaint? Ive also posted an interior shot..its not to clear but the door panels were blue as were the seats.

Happy to see a A2A did a Comanche.

Thanks in advance.

Pat

Hi Pat,

You'll need to upload the pictures to a sharing platform like Dropbox and the post a link here to the forums with the function.

Take care

Hmm..Apologies but im not too tech savy.

Is there a link that shows me how to upload photos? I cant seem to link directly from Drop Box?

I could certainly PM the photos if someone would want to do the paint.

Wow. Those are some nice pictures! But there's three color schemes. Did the plane get repainted often? Just curios!

It was two tone blue in the 70's and was painted red and the interior was changed to black at the same time around 1980.

It was sold in the early 80s. I googled it a few years ago just to see if it was still around and sure enough its still flying in the yellow and brown that you see.

Im glad its still around. That's me under the wing when I was a kid..My family vacationed all over the North East US with that plane.

Id appreciate if someone could do the blue scheme if it isn't too much trouble.

Wow some great images 8)

To post the images you dont use the upload but just the img tags so you can paste the URL and then use [img] tags around it. For example;

Code:
[img]www.yourpictureurlhere.com[/img]

thanks,
Lewis

I love the White/orange/yellow paint scheme, looks really slick! You are lucky to have spent quality time with this plane.

Those last two photos of your father doing the preflight/refuelling - what a skilled photographer! Love the composition, focus and framing!

Wouldn't mind giving one of these a go but I have a few already lined up. If nobody claims it before I'm finished then I'll happily do the blue one.

A quick question, would you like it to have that fresh just-out-of-the-paint-booth look or the weathered look from the pictures? :)

I like the dirty look personally and if you're going to do the blue id prefer it dirty (as it was kept outside at that time.)

I might have a few more pictures if you need them.

Very Much appreciated! My dad will be really surprised.

Regards,
Pat

Just giving a bump to 13P In Blue if any would be willing to do it.

Thanks
Pat
