Purely fictional.
But I did have to finish "Old One-Eye's" metallic Chromalusion style paint first:
Been away far too long!

Re: Eagleskinner is back - new W-i-P
At least the flipflop chromalusion is cheaper in sim. Real world price is something in the order of 400 USD/litre - just for the colour. Needs primer and lacquer as well - and the white parts of the metallic are mother-of pearl flipflop, so 50 K paintjob anyone?

Re: Eagleskinner is back - new W-i-P
Pretty easy to do.
Select the black area on the fuselage, and copy the paint layer. Then you have to enlarge it, till it fits the hinges in the window and paste it over the respective hinges.
Done quite a few on my planes too.
If you are still looking for the step it is place in the front bottom radiator.

While I am doing the outside, I thought I'd do my hallmark interior; after all, only red and beige is too boring

I love it. The embroidery on the headrests is soooo stunning and original.

Except for one of the modeller's usual "saving space" efforts! Notice that the headrests are mirrored. But I have stopped ranting about little things like that... it's not worth the effort...

I noticed that too when I wanted to add some text or logo, can't remember. So I never did.
Btw hor are the hinges coming along?

Re: Eagleskinner is back - new W-i-P
Not exactly ideal. One of my pet peeves at paintkits and their makers is that they all to often just stretch a mesh part to fit and end up with odd scale ratios. The door handles appear to be 200% scale, but they aren't. Don't get me too wrong. A2A paintkits are excellent in the detail they provide, but there are quirks that don't live up to their high standards for accu sim.

Re: Eagleskinner is back - new W-i-P
That isn't a paint kit process but part of the model making process for games design to do with optimisation and levels of details throughout the model.
