Photshop

Post by CODY614 »

O-kay... Basic question, What is the best way to get into this century with Photoshop?
CS just isn't working for me any more. long load times and more complex .psd's are killing it for me.
So I did some research and walked away even more confused?

http://www.adobe.com/creativecloud/photography.html

$120.00 a year seems to be "Basic" Photoshop?
If some one can help me figure this out I would be grateful.

Hello,

everything these days is CC but you can probably pick up older versions like CS4.

thanks

Lewis I'm finding the "Free Version" But they only seem to be updates?
A full boxed version is averaging $1,200.

To be honest for professional software that sounds about right, i think the price might have gone up a few hundred because of demand for the the last editions prior to CC.

Lewis I hate to keep pickin' yer brain...$1,200 Ain't bad but I will have trouble hiding that from the finance mgr.
Do you know if the link I shared does the same thing or do I have to still purchase the basic program?

Which link, the first one for me doesnt work as its geographical limited. CC is subscription based so x amount a month or they offer various pre-paid plans too. Ive just looked and tbh the prices aint actually too bad, and you got me now thinking about upgrading to the latest Photoshop CC.

Well I don't require it at the moment, but prior to this I had written it off in my mind as being too expensive. Ill have to investigate further as I'd also like some of the other packages ideally as I use Photoshop + much more.

thanks,
