Hey guys,
I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread for aviation fonts. Good fonts are important for registration numbers, Squadron #s, placards...etc/
Please post links to suggested fonts for painters.
This a good set of free fonts to have. I frequently use the Amarillo USAF font for N-registration #s

To install fonts, unzip the font files to your /windows/fonts folder.
Cheers

Re: Aviation fonts
One place I tend to go to a lot for fonts is: http://www.dafont.com/
It may not give you specifically what you are looking for, but in the long run you may find it very useful.

Re: Aviation fonts
I can second "dafont". Funnily, I've actually found some of the same ones, as you link to on the "bobsyouruncle" page, on Dafont.
Re: Aviation fonts
The RAF fonts on Simmers Paint Shop are authentic and I always use them. Don't know about the USAF ones. Get them while you can!

Re: Aviation fonts
I have used the font: USAAF_Stencil for the markings, it's nice and gives "open" letters and "closed" aswell. (as in the A2A below)
