So I was going to make a chrome version as well but i'm not sure why it came out grey so I just decided to make and use an olive drab version. The nose art is fictional and the bombs but the tail marking is from a real b 17 the original repaint is on http://www.mikesrepaints.com/b17g.html I hope everyone likes. I'm also new to this forum so I have no idea if the pic has gone through if not i will try fix it. edit- I can't seem to get it to work can anyone tell me I've seen the image url thing but I'm not sure what to do with it

Make sure your Alpha palette is about 50/50 grey/white. Then on your main palette or your diffuse/color palette make sure you actually make the parts that are going to be polish, make those area's a gray paint. You'll have to experiment with different shades of grey on your Alpha and main palettes because the darker the gray on your alpha the more of a mirror finish you'll have... white color on an alpha palette will produce flat colors while black will produce a mirror finish which is only used in very rear instances and in only very tiny areas. Also it makes a huge difference on what Environment file or (Env.dds) file your using too. If you want go ahead and download a couple of my paints from here and take a look at the alpha and paint dds files and that will give you an idea and if you want go ahead and use the Env file from my Connie repaint. You don't have to have this plane for the Env to work on another model.

Also, these paints are only for FSX for now.

Hope this helps!
Cheers.
