P3Dv4 P51 Civillian Mustang engine Revving and idling issue
OK so I purchased the P3Dv4 P51 Mustang civilian and I put it into p3dv4 and when I put it up to full throttle the engine starts revving and idling very quickly and the aircraft is lurching back and forth while it revs and idles quickly and the aircraft becomes airborne really quickly about 3 seconds after run up.

Hi Lee,
First, operating the P-51 at full throttle is never really necessary.
Second, yes the P-51 will do those types of things at full throttle...I have tried it and I’m still not sure how I survived!
The manual is important to read for an aircraft with this level of fidelity.
You can find it in computer Documents\Prepar3D v4 Addons\ A2A\A2A\P51
There are two manuals there, one is the Pilots Manual and the other an Accusim manual.
There are also a good number of threads in this forum that are specific to taking off in the P51!
You can post here with any questions you have. There are lots of people on the forum who are more than willing to point you towards the answers.
