After reinstalling FSX-Acceleration, I noticed I can't steer the tail wheel with the rudder (CH Pedals). I pull the stick full aft but it does not work either… I recalibrate all the stuff, but to no avail.
Thanks for any idea.

Re: Tail wheel locked
Hello guillaume78150,
This might sound trivial, but have you installed the latest Accu-Sim update?
Also the tail wheel should be free when the stick is forward, not aft. It is hold aft, to lock the tail wheel and keep the tail of the plane more stable as at take off in example.
Cheerz,
Vladimir

Vladimir,
Yes I did install the last update. I mistyped… I push the stick forward indeed, but the action on the rudder does not affect the A/C course.

Hi,
Well it is not that dynamic and noticeable as with the Texan, but with stick forward the Mustang is steered more easy. Have you tried applying little break in the direction of the turn?

Re: Tail wheel locked
I could taxi the P51 with no problem before reinstalling.
I know with the stick pulled back, the tail wheel motion is limited but still effective, useful when taking-off. Now, whatever the stick position, aft or forward, nothing happens. Strange.
Yes, the aircraft can be steered with the brakes.

Hi guillaume78150,
Just tested my P-51 "Civie" in FSX Acceleration, the tail wheel is turning more as it should, when the stick is full forward.
You have installed the P-51 in the following order right?
1. A2A P-51 the aircraft
2. Accu-Sim expansion if you have one
3.the latest Accu-Sim update.
(now if you have bought the P-51 from A2A new store, the aircraft and the Accu-Sim are one product already)
Cheerz,
Vladimir

Re: Tail wheel locked
Hello,
how did you reinstall the P-51 into FSX?
You will want to make sure the .dat files are deleted and also the update files are removed for correct updating in FSX.
thanks,
Lewis - A2A
