I only run P3D now and have purchased the C172 and T-6 versions for P3D and I love flying them.
In addition I have several other A2A aircraft I purchased for FSX and was hoping they would be modified by A2A and made available for P3D particularly the Cub, P-51, and B-27. Since it appears that will never happen is there a best way to do this?
I had purchased and used the Migration tool back in the P3Dv2 days but don't want to take a chance on messing up a very clean P3Dv3.4 set-up I have now. I have read the method posted on Avsim by Dixon regarding adding a fsx.exe file to the P3D folder and adding a couple files to the registry so the fsx A2A installer will find and install into P3D. I just want to know what's A2A's position on all this, I assume it works and that's why all the other aircraft haven't been converted for official P3D use.
Please advise
Joe
Is there an official way to install A2A P-51 into P3Dv3.4 ?

Hello,
no official way, the software is FSX only. We cannot say it will work on another platform or if it does currently work will continue to work on the next P3D patch/update etc.
thanks,
Lewis

Thanks Lewis
So if this is true why hasn't A2A released versions of the aircraft I mentioned to work in P3D?

Hello Joe,
the P3D platform is its own platform (professionally aimed) we just haven't got around to creating Mustang software for it at this time, along with any number of other aircraft we would love to produce as a team or indiviually, cough Lancaster cough Our focus for P3D has been the GA aircraft and its flight training capabilities and our professional partners using the platform and our sim for flight training purposes.
thanks,
Lewis
